I am passionate about growth, initiatives, effective collaboration and creating a better future. Therefore, working as Data Analyst would provide me with the opportunity to combine my professional expertise with my passion which matches my career interests, skill set, training and experience.

I have over seven years cognate working experience that spans manufacturing to financial sector. I possess vast knowledge of the practice of banking, data cleaning and preparation, data analysis and exploration, data visualisations, product analysis, revenue assurance , building of dashboards and reports. In addition, I am highly numerate, analytical and computer literate. I also possess good communication skills and sound knowledge of office practices.

I am an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). I possess a Postgraduate Certificate in Data Science and Business Analytics from the University of Texas at Austin, United States. My undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Integrated Science (Second Class, Upper Division) from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria gave me a strong background in statistics and probability.

▪︎ I came up with data-driven initiatives that enhanced business growth for credit cards.

▪︎ I consistently generated reports which produced actionable business insights that brought about 27% growth in Investment clients and 56% growth in Wealth Management Overdraft clients.

▪︎ Revenue Contribution of $4.4m by providing quality leads for Affluent Banking campaigns which promoted cross-sell and up-sell of investment products.

I am particularly proud of the deep- dive opportunity project I worked on for my team.I provided sales/marketing relationship managers and stakeholders with relevant insight which was an eye opener to the available opportunities within the portfolio. As a result, there was a portfolio reshuffling which lead to an increase in sales revenue of over 70% thereby supporting the team to meet its target for the year. In return, the project was tagged as ” the best sales executed innovation that significantly impacted success and engagement level of relationship managers” with an award plaque to show for it and it was used as one of the criteria used during the last appraisal for my promotion. Also, this project has been adopted as BAU being done quarterly to reveal hidden gems within the wealth portfolio which continuously helps me to improve my analytics skills using tools like Microsoft excel, SQL and Power-BI amongst others.
