Payroll Specialist with German or/and French – Remote/Hybrid Full Time

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide necessary data to payroll provider for payroll preparation.
• Assist in conducting payroll calculations in compliance with local laws and corporate policies.
• Validate and analyze payroll results to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities for documentation and benefits.
• Process salary, benefits, and other payroll-related payments.
• Manage personnel management activities related to payroll.
• Participate in payroll projects for process improvement and digitalization.
• Maintain knowledge of labor and social security legislation for compliance.
• Prepare cash forecasts and accrual calculations for financial reporting.
• Review and validate payroll journal entries.
• Handle ad hoc contacts with local institutions and prepare necessary responses.
• Provide support and guidance on payroll matters to employees and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of Swiss and/or German payroll administration experience.
• Experience with payroll providers preferred.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures in alignment with local regulations.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in German and/or French preferred.
• Proficiency in standard office software packages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer-oriented approach.
