Responsibilities
- Design and maintain high-quality web SDKs and frameworks
- Prototype new web features for potential SDK integration
- Continuously learn about the latest web and mobile-web capabilities
- Maintain and extend the web SDK using TypeScript, React, CSS
- Provide technical design input and development for new features
- Test changes manually and by writing unit and integration tests
- Educate product discovery teams on web capabilities
- Adapt to business and customer needs with a customer-first mentality
- Work with a global team across different locations
- Collaborate with Web Engineers, Backend Engineers, Mobile Engineers, Product Managers, Program Managers, and QA
- Troubleshoot escalated issues and work closely with other engineers and support
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- Deep experience in web development with best practices
- Experience building SDKs or common libraries; bonus for advertising/marketing SDKs
- Proficiency with npm, TypeScript, React, CSS, and GitHub Actions
- Experience with browser APIs like notifications, service workers, IndexedDB
- Experience writing cross-browser/platform features for desktop and mobile
- Understanding of web development best practices including accessibility
- Familiarity with or interest in mobile languages like Swift, Kotlin, Java
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork
- Experience with REST APIs
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration and project management
