P&C Engineer II at Hubbell Incorporated Full Time

Responsibilities

• Create substation drawing packages including one-line and three-line drawings
• Develop DC schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and component layouts
• Interpret customer specifications and provide design that meets requirements
• Check and update protection and control wiring diagrams
• Create control panel and field equipment wiring diagrams
• Perform fault analysis, coordination studies, and grounding design
• Develop settings for station relays and perform breaker control relay setting calculations
• Champion process improvements and mentor P&C Designers and Engineers
• Assist in site visits and development of technical scope documents
• Travel approximately 10% of the time

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• P.E. license or P.E. track preferred
• Minimum five years of Transmission and Distribution Protection and Control experience
• Knowledge of Microprocessor Based Protection and Control Relays, RTU Equipment, HMI, SCADA Systems
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and proven analytical & problem-solving skills
