Responsibilities:
- Supervise coding and data abstraction activities.
- Ensure timely coding of records per Tenet policies.
- Manage workflow related to coding and abstracting.
- Direct coding activities and productivity standards.
- Support coding quality improvement processes.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding systems.
- Analytical abilities for preparing reports.
- Interpersonal skills for department interaction.
- Above average office and computer skills.
- Associate’s degree in HIM related field.
- RHIT Certification.
- 5+ years coding experience.
