Responsibilities:
- Conduct DRG payment reviews for coding accuracy.
- Identify documentation discrepancies and errors.
- Train coding staff on best practices.
- Develop inpatient coding policies with the team.
- Represent coding expertise in cross-functional meetings.
Requirements:
- CCS certification; RHIA/RHIT preferred.
- 3-5 years in hospital inpatient coding/auditing.
- Proficiency in DRG, CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 standards.
- Experience with EPIC and 3M 360 Encompass.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
