Senior Textile Engineer at MAG Aerospace in United States Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Apply textile principles to combat clothing systems.
• Assist in research, design, and materials integration.
• Develop solutions for environmental, chemical, and biological threats.
• Resolve problems related to protection and survivability.
• Conduct system investigations and evaluate product development.
• Plan and coordinate development programs for materials and systems.
• Review and assess system performance against specifications.
• Identify deficiencies and propose technological concepts.
• Initiate engineering change proposals and manage fiscal resources.
• Deliver briefings and prepare reports with recommendations.
• Maintain contact with industry and academia for R&D.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience.
• Current SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain.
• Expertise in textile engineering, materials, and manufacturing.
• Ability to lead engineering efforts independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with military uniforms and equipment preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS and OCONUS).
• Adherence to teleworking policy and professional attire.
