Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to BU management team.
• Assume responsibility for BU portfolio’s operational success.
• Develop relationships with vendors, partners, and customers.
• Review and approve contract awards and modifications.
• Ensure program/project managers have the necessary tools.
• Lead business development, capture, and growth activities.
• Ensure successful execution of contracts and programs.
• Create and maintain a pipeline of contract opportunities.
• Lead transition activities upon award and program execution.
• Meet weekly with BU leadership to review milestones.

Requirements:

• 7-15 years of experience in program management.
• 10 years of leadership experience in DoD.
• BS or BA or 4 additional years of relevant experience.
• Experience in IT acquisition and government contracting.
• Proven ability to generate long-term client relationships.
• Excellent multitasking, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Excel.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
• ITIL certification and DoD security clearance preferred.
