Responsibilities:
- Manage bi-weekly/weekly payroll for Canada and US employees.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions.
- Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
- Lead payroll team and provide training/coaching.
- Prepare month-end, year-end entries, and payroll accounts reconciliation.
- Document and implement payroll processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize payroll processes.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports and payments to authorities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in Canadian and US payroll.
- 2+ years’ experience leading payroll teams.
- Experience with UKG Pro payroll system.
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- PCP/CPM certifications are a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and labor laws.
