A/R Revenue Cycle Specialist at NSN Revenue Resources in United States Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Resolve unpaid/underpaid/denied claims for reimbursement.
• Prioritize high-dollar claims and work through queues.
• Review insurance and patient correspondence, including refunds.
• Send appeals or provide necessary medical documentation.
• Review patient balances and follow up for payment.
• Handle incoming patient calls regarding billing issues.
• Review insurance payments for reimbursement accuracy.
• Negotiate payments for out-of-network providers.
• Recommend adjustments or refunds with supporting documentation.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of ASC revenue cycle or orthopedic collections experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes.
• Ability to interpret insurance explanations and contracts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Advantx, Vision, HST, SIS Complete, or Waystar is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
