Responsibilities:

• Bill patients and insurance companies for services provided.
• Analyze excel spreadsheets and raw data.
• Manage denial processes and resolve payment issues.
• Resolve inappropriate payments with insurance carriers.
• Use knowledge of contracts and regulations to manage accounts.
• Coordinate duplicate billings and obtain necessary documents.
• Identify trends in payer non-compliance and report to management.
• Negotiate with payers within specified guidelines.
• Ensure secondary carriers or self-pay portions are billed.
• Follow up to locate missing information for account resolution.
• Maintain logs and participate in departmental meetings.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of accounts receivable experience in healthcare.
• 1 year of experience in denial management.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
