Responsibilities:
- Account for two entities and prepare journal entries.
- Research and correct account discrepancies.
- Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts.
- Assist with monthly close process and statements.
- Maintain file documentation (invoices, contracts).
- Ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare for audits and lead audits if needed.
- Help manage system integrations and data syncs.
- Stay on top of tax policies, manage payments, returns.
- Document processes and procedures.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in accounting roles.
- Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle information confidentially.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google apps.
- Proficiency in QBO, Bill.com, Intacct, CCH SureTax.
- Knowledge of ASC 606, ASC 842, Section 174.
- Resourceful problem solver, willing to learn.
