Responsibilities:
- Develop understanding of customer needs.
- Partner with account managers for strategy.
- Showcase advantages of Pure Storage solutions.
- Deliver technical product and architecture presentations.
- Capture requirements and translate into solutions.
- Contribute to responses for RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Stay current with competition and market trends.
- Promote thought leadership within the organization.
Requirements:
- BS in CS, EE or equivalent experience.
- Pre-sales experience required (5+ years).
- Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage.
- Knowledge of multi-tiered client/server computing.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and containers.
- Strong understanding of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI).
- Knowledge of VMware, TCP/IP, networking.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
