Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on healthcare regulatory issues.
- Develop strategies to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
- Monitor healthcare regulatory developments and advise stakeholders.
- Liaise with agencies like CMS, FDA, and HHS.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and business transactions.
- Advise on healthcare fraud, abuse, and compliance laws.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state privacy laws.
- Lead internal training on regulatory requirements.
- Review and ensure compliance in healthcare agreements.
Requirements:
- Law degree and licensed to practice in the U.S.
- 8–10 years of healthcare regulatory experience.
- Proven track record in managing legal risks.
- Strong writing and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to draft and implement corporate policies.
