Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and file federal, state, and local taxes.
- Manage and file U.S. sales tax returns across jurisdictions.
- Maintain clients’ financial records in QuickBooks Online.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks including reconciliations.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding tax filings.
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Enrolled Agent (EA) credential, in active standing.
- At least 2 years of experience with QBO, bookkeeping, ProConnect Tax.
- Experience with U.S. sales tax filings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and filing requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
