Responsibilities:

• Drive discovery of customer IT current state.
• Research industry trends and develop discovery approaches.
• Lead workshops to drive relevant discovery.
• Document customer current state to target future state.
• Analyze client requirements and determine solutions.
• Create and deliver compelling technical proposals.
• Develop technical white papers on growth plans.
• Identify customer stakeholders and align technical solutions.
• Maintain technical excellence across architecture areas.
• Deliver relevant technical knowledge and presentations.
• Participate in technical champion programs and communities.
• Develop working relationships with vendor partner teams.
• Provide support for data center solutions and integration.
• Work in Agile methodology to support scrum teams.
• Contribute to team culture and collaboration tools.
• Mentor and enable others in sales and presales.
• Travel to meet customers 20% of the time.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
• Relevant and current industry certifications.
• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• 10+ years understanding of IT operating models.
• 7+ years experience with RFP/RFI, proposals, solutions.
• 7+ years experience with statements of work (SOW).
• Presales experience with strong bias for action.
• Knowledge of Cloud adoption models and approaches.
• Expertise in security, compliance, and governance.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Concourse).
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization services.
• Experience with Agile practices and frameworks.
• Familiarity with network route, switch, load balance.
• Experience with Linux, UNIX, Microsoft, IBM platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with cloud management platforms (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Knowledge of compute and storage architectures (Dell, NetApp).
• Expertise in VMware, Red Hat, Nutanix, virtualization.
• Familiarity with data protection platforms (Veeam, Rubrik).
• Experience with container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Comfort leading presentations and CIO/CTO level demos.
• Drive for new ideas and seeking mentoring/coaching.
