Responsibilities:

• Respond to technical and product queries from customers via tickets, emails, or chats.
• Troubleshoot application and product issues.
• Learn and adapt quickly to DigitalOcean systems and processes.
• Work collaboratively and independently within team settings.
• Identify, communicate, and document process and policy improvements.
• Manage incidents and escalations.
• Help combat fraud and abuse on the platform.
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements:

• Strong background in cloud technology and Linux systems.
• Passion for technology and customer support.

• Excellent analytical and pattern recognition skills.
• Previous experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 support or customer success roles.

Technical Skills:

• Working knowledge of Linux, Debian, Ubuntu, Django, networking, and storage.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM and Xen.
• Bonus: Familiarity with database engines (e.g., MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
• Bonus: Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, or CKA.
• Bonus: Experience troubleshooting Kubernetes issues, including pods, deployments, and control planes.
