Director of Document Review Full Time

Summary:

• The Director of Document Review plays a critical role in the success of UnitedLex client deliverables and relationships.
• This leader will leverage their deep knowledge of eDiscovery and passion for people to drive superior outcomes.
• The position is remote, welcoming applicants from across the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Exercises deep knowledge of EDRM process and Relativity workflows by developing and refining processes, identifying and managing risks, and meeting quality and financial targets.
• Oversees 15-20 eDiscovery Document Review projects.
• Accountable for approval and accuracy of matter level budgets created by team members and ensuring adherence to these budgets.
• Creates workplace setups and trains the team.
• Achieves target margin on portfolio of clients by understanding strategic levers for financial success and using reporting to monitor project success.
• Manages a portfolio of client relationships with revenue up to $20 million, including expanding offerings.
• Supports sales during client meetings, RFP responses, and QBRs.
• Exercises strategic, independent client communication, including leading client calls and managing expectations.
• Coaches, trains, and develops team members with a focus on growth, client support, and project budgets.
• Fosters a healthy team by celebrating achievements, creating opportunities for growth, and ensuring the team has the right skills.
• Leads by example, modeling the company’s values and ensuring they are embedded in the team’s work and culture.

Requirements:

• BA/BS from an accredited university. JD and active bar licensure preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience managing document review projects independently.
• Tech savvy, with strong knowledge of relevant industry platforms and tools.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively internally and externally.
• Proven ability to invest in and develop people, collaborating with other teams and leaders to achieve company goals.
