Account Executive Full Time

Summary:

• The role is for an Account Executive to join the Growth team, focused on acquiring restaurants for OpenTable’s network through consultative sales.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and approach potential restaurant customers to provide customized product demos and sell OpenTable products.
• Consistently meet monthly and quarterly acquisition targets.
• Build and maintain high-level client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
• Use Salesforce to develop strategic plans, build forecasts, and process contracts.
• Adapt to product and technology updates to generate business plans and selling strategies.
• Communicate market insights to the Product and Marketing teams.
• Represent OpenTable at industry events and maintain consistent engagement with the hospitality sector.

Requirements:

• Motivated by commission-based earning potential.
• Passion for hospitality and technology, with preferred experience in restaurant management or sales in the food and beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of economic and industry drivers affecting the restaurant business.
• Exceptional discovery, negotiation, and analytical skills to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Proficient in presenting data-driven strategies to persuade and deliver results.
• Skilled communicator, able to reframe perspectives and drive business value.
• Comfortable in unstructured, forward-thinking environments.
• Collaborative and feedback-oriented, with a focus on professional persistence and outbound activities.
• Proficient in Google Suite and Salesforce CRM.
