Payroll and Benefits Manager Full Time

Summary:

• Tobii Dynavox empowers people with disabilities through assistive communication technology.
• The Payroll and Benefits Manager supports the Global Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Team to maintain and enhance Tobii Dynavox’s compensation offerings.
• This role requires collaboration with the Head of C&B and HR to ensure accurate payroll data, benefit management, and employee support across global teams.

Responsibilities:

• Process U.S. semi-monthly payroll, validate data, reconcile reports, and maintain tax compliance.
• Manage payroll operations, including transitions between in-house and outsourced solutions.
• Oversee benefit onboarding/offboarding, HSA/FSA elections, COBRA, leaves of absence, and vendor coordination.
• Support wellness program development and vendor management.
• Conduct audits for payroll, 401(k), worker’s compensation, and ensure HRIS data integrity.
• Manage relationships with benefit brokers and oversee the open enrollment process.
• Act as the primary contact for payroll/benefits inquiries and provide onboarding/offboarding support.
• Administer international agreements and ensure compliance for expatriates.
• Collaborate on Compensation and Benefits projects and adapt to additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-5+ years in U.S. payroll and benefits administration (CPP certification preferred but not required).
• Experience with U.S.-based pension and benefits programs.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.
• Familiarity with Workday, ADP Workforce Now, and other HR systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Adherence to data privacy policies and attention to detail.
