Director, Transformational Giving Full Time

Summary:

• Worldreader is a global edtech organization aiming to improve literacy and learning outcomes for young children.
• The mission is to inspire children worldwide with engaging reading activities and content.
• The Director of Transformational Giving will collaborate with the CEO and senior leaders to advance a comprehensive fundraising and marketing strategy in the U.S. and internationally.
• This is a full-time remote role based in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a $6 million revenue growth strategy with measurable objectives and metrics.
• Oversee a comprehensive advancement strategy and create a diversified fundraising model.
• Collaborate, manage, and mentor the Advancement team.
• Provide strategic insights and periodic reports to the CEO and U.S. Board of Directors.
• Enhance Worldreader’s global brand and reputation.

Requirements:

• Ability to build, lead, and motivate a diverse, high-performing team.
• Strategic and executional balance with a results-oriented mindset.
• Skilled in fundraising, marketing, and branding.
• Strong fiscal management skills, including oversight of multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Passion for using technology and data for social good.
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency preferred.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing and Communications, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in comprehensive fundraising and marketing programs.
• Proven success in securing six- to seven-figure partnerships in a nonprofit setting.
• Exceptional writing and persuasive communication skills.

Physical & Travel Requirements:

• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Domestic and international travel as needed.
