Territory Manager Northern CA Full Time

Summary:

• Symmetrio is recruiting a Territory Manager for a US-based surgical oncology solutions company.
• The role involves growing the adoption and utilization of the company’s products in the Northern California market.
• The position requires coordinating sales functions with distributor agent groups, Area Directors, VP of Sales and Marketing, CTO, Medical Physicist, and Clinical Applications Specialists.
• Coordination with operations, marketing, regulatory, and other departments is essential to facilitate growth and expansion in the territory.
• The role demands a high level of sales excellence, leadership, mentoring, negotiation, and process development skills.
• The position requires travel within the territory, and the manager must reside in Northern California.

Responsibilities:

• Exceed top-line revenue goals and key performance indicators aligning with corporate objectives.
• Present product features, benefits, and organizational history during sales consultations, hospital visits, workshops, tradeshows, and to stakeholders.
• Identify and accelerate new sales opportunities, profiling the best fit individuals for product adoption, such as Neurosurgeons, Radiation Oncologists, and Medical Physicists.
• Develop accurate sales forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Identify activities to develop and drive sales processes within the territory.
• Mentor and gain clinical support, educate on the product, and navigate approval processes using professional sales skills and economic evaluation.
• Leverage sales tools and best practices to increase productivity and close sales opportunities.
• Utilize CRM for account planning, leads, opportunities, and pipeline nurturing, providing reliable business intelligence.
• Submit required paperwork, including travel itineraries, trip reports, activity reports, monthly reports, expenses, and service reports promptly and accurately.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business studies from an accredited college or relevant work experience preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in the medical device industry; neurosurgery or radiation oncology experience is a plus.
• Ability to create and manage internal and external partnerships.
• High attention to detail and proficiency in issue resolution.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
• Extensive experience managing complex sales cycles with physicians and surgeons.
• Effective presentation skills for management, business partners, and customers.
• Strong market analysis, strategic planning, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Customer and patient-focused with consistency, compliance, creativity, and value-adding capabilities.
