Senior FP&A Analyst Full Time

Summary:

• Coupa is a leading company in Business Spend Management, leveraging AI and a top spend management platform to help businesses enhance their profitability and efficiency.
• The Senior Financial Analyst will support financial strategy for customer-facing and support teams, working closely with business leaders to improve operational efficiency in a SaaS environment.
• This role will focus on driving performance and alignment with company objectives, with a particular emphasis on customer-facing functions such as sales, services, and renewals.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a financial advisor to business leaders within sales, services, renewals, and customer support teams, providing strategic insights and financial guidance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with operational leaders to understand their business needs and challenges.
• Lead financial planning and analysis for customer-facing and customer support teams, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Ensure accuracy and alignment of financial plans with the company’s strategic objectives for these specific areas of responsibility.
• Collaborate with sales, services, renewals, and customer support teams to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and process improvements, focusing on SaaS metrics such as ARR, churn rate, and LTV.
• Develop and implement performance metrics and dashboards to monitor key business drivers and track progress against strategic initiatives.
• Drive cross-functional projects aimed at improving financial and operational processes, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions specific to the SaaS industry.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and strategic relevance.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities within the customer-facing and customer support teams and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, maintaining a robust control environment.

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a track record of partnering with business leaders to drive performance, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among senior leadership.
• Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance management tools (Excel and Anaplan preferred).
• Enterprise SaaS experience is highly preferred.
• A professional qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred; CFA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
