Director, Business Development Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Develop new strategic alliances with key customers.
• Research and recognize customers’ business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities, aligning Flex resources where mutually beneficial.
• Work closely with the Business Development Team and Finance Department to control department budgets.
• Assist current accounts in developing and executing product roadmaps, delivering Flex’s solutions, including concept development, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, services hold-up, and reverse logistics.
• Manage and evaluate key personnel and provide talent acquisition support to enhance business resources.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies to recruit and retain a qualified workforce, ensuring understanding of cultural nuances and diversity representations.
• Represent Flex Ways of Working when interacting with internal and external contacts.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or business.
• Typically requires 7 years of progressively advancing business development experience.
• Experience working within datacom.
• Ability to work with internal teams, executive management, and external customers to maximize mutual benefit.
• Experience in the Electronic Manufacturing/Engineering business environment.
• Knowledge of Strategic Selling techniques.
• Understanding of key financial metrics, capability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators, and taking actions to meet customer needs and Flex targets.
• Ability to successfully influence senior-level management, executives, and key clients.
