Channel Systems Engineer Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Exceed measurable sales objectives and extend the Arista brand within the channel.
• Utilize a consultative selling approach with key partners to address business needs in hybrid cloud computing and legacy IT systems.
• Qualify new opportunities, deliver sales presentations, and respond to RFPs.
• Meet with key decision-makers to present Arista’s value proposition.
• Partner with the UKI Systems Engineering team to design and position compelling solutions.
• Collaborate with channel partners to identify prospects and build joint pipeline activities.
• Conduct demand generation activities like webinars, happy hours, and lunch-n-learns.
• Build and manage a demand creation campaign encompassing marketing, PR, and pipeline creation.
• Collaborate with Arista peers on marketing plans and best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with technology partner solutions, competing solutions, and competitor strategies.
• Articulate the steps to closure, managing expectations via accurate forecasting and communication with partners.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of commercial or technical experience with networking equipment (Router, Switch, SDN, SD-WAN, etc.), data center, and network automation solutions.
• Proven track record of pursuing and closing deals with partners or end customers.
• Fluent English is essential.
• Must be currently resident in the United Kingdom (no relocation offered).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or equivalent. MBA is desirable.
• Strong people skills and ability to cultivate and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Proven ability to build business plans, document processes, and exceed sales targets.
• Ability to work with regional partners within the territory.
