Human Resources Coordinator (Remote – AK, AZ & NM) Full Time NEW

Summary:

• WinnCompanies is in search of an energetic and dynamic Human Resources Coordinator to support military housing teams in Alaska, Arizona, and New Mexico.
• The position offers remote work opportunities but requires the ideal candidate to work in the Alaska Standard, Pacific, or Mountain Standard time zones.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for recruiting support, executing weekly payroll activities, serving as a liaison for leaves of absence, and ensuring timely new hire onboarding.
• This role reports to the Senior Human Resources Generalist.
• The position is full-time with a schedule of Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM or from 9:00AM to 6:00PM, based on the time zone location.
• Recruiting and onboarding experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide operational talent acquisition support by posting open requisitions, reviewing and screening applications/resumes, scheduling interviews, creating offer letters, and offering miscellaneous administrative support to site leadership and MHS corporate recruiter.
• Perform payroll-related duties, including weekly/bi-weekly payroll transactions, status changes, timesheet processing, and payroll reminders.
• Ensure that all pre-hire paperwork is completed and routed properly, including candidate applications, Predictive Index (PI), and offer letters.
• Initiate candidate background checks via a third-party provider to be reviewed, verified, and adjudicated by the Employee Relations team.
• Assist in onboarding new employees in accordance with Winn policies.
• Serve as a liaison with corporate benefits on leave status tracking and facilitate onsite support for workers’ compensation.
• Provide support to employees in finding HR information, such as benefits.
• Assist managers with all aspects of the quarterly bonus program.
• Coordinate, track, and implement the company’s training programs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in recruiting and onboarding.
• Proficiency with computer systems, such as Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, including Dayforce, HireRight, and Lever.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience providing virtual/remote support across various time zones.
• Proficiency in relationship building and communication.
• Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of wage and hour laws across various states.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under pressure.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
