Process Engineer Full Time NEW

Summary:

• Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented ​Process Engineer to work remotely within the Midwest region of the United States!
• Founded in 2014 and headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, Sedron Technologies designs, manufactures, installs, and operates advanced water and waste upcycling technologies.
• With a focus on transforming the paradigm from waste processing to resource recovery, Sedron Technologies works with municipal, agricultural, and industrial customers to process their “waste” into climate-smart commodities through environmentally and financially sustainable methods.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in engineering activities, including design of chemical processes, unit operations, and related components, engineering reviews, work order preparation, and procurement.
• Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through start-up and operation.
• Work directly with the customer and internal technical teams to ensure progress on all stages of project lifecycle.
• Work directly with operators to optimize processes to meet all customer and internal requirements.
• Analyze and troubleshoot process problems to make continuous and permanent improvements.
• Be responsible for assuring materials are organized and ready for manufacturing, including carrying out purchasing activities.
• Create and maintain P&IDs of complex systems and processes.
• Work with our technologies in a live production environment to learn about how processes can be improved; a certain degree of mechanical and process aptitude is required for this position.
• Educate and provide recommendations regarding safety, permitting, and process improvement.
• Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives.
• Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike.
• Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices.
• Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

Benefits:

• Compensation range for this role is between $80,000 and $130,000 annually.
• The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
• Discretionary bonus.
• Travel up to 40%.
