Head of Group Compliance Full Time NEW

Summary:

• BCP Partners is looking to recruit a Head of Group Compliance who will report directly to the Group General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer.
• The position is located in the south of France but can be performed fully remotely.
• The Head of Group Compliance will oversee a team of Compliance Officers and manage the group’s compliance program, ensuring it remains compliant with relevant legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of Compliance Officers directly reporting to the holding company.
• Organize, structure, and operationally lead the Compliance network across different countries/entities.
• Ensure the definition, update, and deployment of the Group’s Compliance Program, including all policies and ethical frameworks.
• Monitor and improve the ongoing action plan while respecting defined deadlines.
• Update policies and compliance frameworks based on experiences, benchmarks, legislative changes, and the company’s risk exposure.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including the Sapin 2 Law, UK Bribery Act, and FCPA.
• Continue the implementation of ISO 37001 certification.
• Ensure the proper deployment and implementation of the Compliance Program across the Group.
• Participate in risk mapping of each entity and define and monitor associated action plans.
• Lead and participate in local Ethics Committees of the Group’s entities.
• Propose relevant benchmarks and analyses.
• Propose new tools or software to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Compliance Program.
• Manage due diligence in collaboration with external advisors.
• Conduct internal and external audits and investigations.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, discretion, integrity, intellectual agility, and an understanding of international geopolitical contexts.

Requirements:

• Fluent in French and English.
• In-depth knowledge of the Sapin 2 Law, UK Bribery Act, and US FCPA regulations.
• Strong understanding of risk analysis techniques.
• Open-minded with the ability to reason flexibly.
• Strong pedagogical skills.
• Proficiency in standard office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) and quality document production.
• Experience in setting up and managing international compliance programs in global companies.
• A Master’s degree level of education.
• A minimum of 7 to 9 years of experience in a Compliance Management role within an international industrial group.
• Proven track record in managing specialized compliance teams.
