Residential Consulting & Advisory- Part Time Part Time

Summary:

SitusAMC is seeking a part-time Residential Consultant to provide value-added services for clients. This role involves overseeing operational assessments of financial industry participants and providing advisory support. The consultant will utilize mortgage banking experience to assess risks in operational efficiencies, compliance, and other business areas, all while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed review and risk assessment of mortgage operations.
• Gather, track, and assimilate due diligence questionnaires, legal documentation, and financial statements, along with compliance and operational policies and procedures.
• Evaluate servicing policies and related operations.
• Demonstrate executive presence while conducting on-site and/or remote operational assessments of target entities.
• Create comprehensive operational due diligence reports summarizing identified risks, issues, or deficiencies.
• Facilitate communication and tracking of documentation request lists and review agendas.
• Maintain accurate review status in SitusAMC systems, including billable hours, to ensure timely completion and invoicing of completed engagements.
• Perform other related duties as required by the business.

Requirements:

• Experience in loan origination and servicing.
• Ability to conduct operational assessments of mortgage operations, compliance, accounting, legal, and IT systems.
• Experience creating detailed operational due diligence reports.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.
• Previous experience in the mortgage banking industry.
