Translator – Latin American Spanish Contract

Summary:

Testronic’s Translation Department is seeking an English-to-Latin American Spanish translator. The role involves translating video games, game updates, and marketing materials. Additionally, it requires proofreading and editing other translators’ work to ensure top quality. A passion for linguistic and cultural nuances is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Translate video games both full-titles (sometimes shared with other translators) and game updates.
• Translate marketing texts and materials from clients.
• Proofread and edit other translators’ work to ensure the text is of the best quality.

Requirements:

• Native speaker or native-related of Latin American Spanish, passionate about linguistic and cultural nuances.
• Fluent knowledge of English.
• Minimum 6 months of translation experience.
• Freelance registration and ability to provide invoices.
• Translation experience in the gaming/filming industry is beneficial.
