They are looking for an LQA Game Tester with Brazilian Portuguese to join their Localization QA department. This role involves identifying translation errors, checking the game’s tone and style, and ensuring cultural correctness while working with Excel and Jira.

Responsibilities:

• Finding and correcting any translation errors, spelling mistakes, and ambiguities.
• Checking the game’s tone and style, audio, text, and cultural correctness.
• Creating reports in Excel and Jira.
• Submitting quality-improving suggestions for the errors you find.

Requirements:

• Brazilian Portuguese C2 level or native.
• English C1 level to ensure internal communication and reporting.
• Perfect knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation of your language.
• Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Great communication skills allowing precise and clear expression.
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure of time.
• Bonus points for:
  • Passion for gaming and curiosity for new titles (all types of games count!).
  • Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Sony (PS4/PS5), Microsoft (PC, Xbox One/XSX/XSS), Nintendo (Switch), Apple (iOS).
