Patient Service Representative II – Remote, Spanish Bilingual Required Full Time

Summary:

Tenet Call Center Ops is seeking a Spanish bilingual Patient Service Representative II to provide excellent service in a remote role. The representative will handle scheduling, financial clearance, and pre-registration for patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient process. A high level of multitasking and customer service skills is required, with responsibilities extending to verifying insurance, confirming financial obligations, and maintaining accurate data for patient appointments.

Responsibilities:

• Complete scheduling and registration functions with patients during one call.
• Provide timely scheduling, including important appointment details such as prep instructions and directions.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and secure payment of financial liabilities.
• Perform collection efforts and ensure payment is made.
• Verify and match orders to scheduled procedures, including indexing and exporting physician orders.
• Collect and verify patient demographic and financial data, securing pre-payment for services when necessary.
• Obtain necessary pre-certifications and authorizations from insurers and healthcare facilities.
• Perform additional duties as required by department needs.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Two-plus years of college or equivalent professional customer service experience (preferred).
• Experience in telephone/call center environments (preferred).
• Experience in pre-registration and/or scheduling (preferred).
• 2-3 years of customer service experience (preferred).
• Must be bilingual in Spanish.
• Basic typing skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based computer environment.
• Ability to multitask in a production-driven call-center setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
