Summary:
Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO), an affiliate of Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG), is seeking a Public Health Emergency Associate to support MaineCare eligibility and enrollment during the unwinding of the public health emergency continuity of coverage requirement. The role involves data entry, client communication, and preparing cases for processing to help increase the output of eligible cases during the transition period.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare MaineCare cases for processing, including data entry in the OFI eligibility systems.
- Apply relevant program policies to specific case circumstances.
- Identify and request verifications as necessary.
- Update client addresses in ACES, including outreach by phone or otherwise as needed.
- Field phone calls from the public to answer questions and provide case status information.
- Triage calls to eligibility specialists when needed.
Requirements:
- Competency in applying principles of quality customer service to assist the public with eligibility or compliance-related tasks.
- Ability to make independent decisions on processes and actions according to standard procedures.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Skilled in telephone communication with clients and the public.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. (No sponsorship available).
