Maetz Consulting, LLC offers a full-time, remote Symitar Programmer role to support financial services, focusing on credit union core banking systems like Symitar. The company seeks a skilled programmer to enhance digital banking integration and business applications, reporting to the AVP of Information Services, in a culture valuing employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide business application support for our core banking system (Symitar) and other business applications.
- Support all aspects of application programming, analyzes and develops program specifications to meet user needs.
- Work closely with outside vendors to maintain and modify software applications.
- Achieve established objectives and results through communications with internal and external stakeholders, managers, and members.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or four years additional specific work experience in lieu of degree.
- 4 years specific work technical work experience with Symitar and Symitar proprietary programming (PowerOn), HTML, Java Script.
- A working knowledge of financial institution operations and transactions.
- Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) principles and programming languages and tools.
- 3+ years of specific Symitar programming work experience within a Credit Union (preferred).
- Symitar PowerOn certification (preferred).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other relevant certifications (preferred).
