Account Executive ESG Full Time

Summary:

• The company is expanding its ESG Business Development team to support Convene ESG Software, which helps clients with sustainability reporting.
• The successful candidate will have a strong interest in ESG trends and data/disclosure quality, and be responsible for supporting ESG reporting and governance for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day hands-on sales execution, including marketing requirements.
• Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals.
• Manage pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations, advising on bid preparation, and supporting product pricing and business plan targets.
• Assist the Sales team with ESG domain knowledge.
• Provide advisory to clients/prospects for ESG reporting compliance.
• Onboard clients to the ESG reporting platform.
• Study various ESG reporting frameworks and contribute to the development of the ESG reporting platform.
• Develop and maintain a sales pipeline within CRM, pursuing sales leads and prospective clients.
• Attend trade shows if required.
• Deliver customer presentations, proposals, and negotiate and close business deals.
• Maintain awareness of legislation and best practices in ESG.
• Provide updates on sales leads to senior management.

Requirements:

• 1 – 3 years of experience in sales.
• 2 – 3 years of ESG background.
• Strong background/knowledge in sustainability topics in key sectors is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
