Account Executive (Northeast) – SLED Full Time

Responsibilities

• Consistently meet sales and profitability goals
• Position, configure, and quote product and service solutions
• Manage leads and opportunities through Salesforce and other CRM tools
• Accurately report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels
• Create, edit, and close services proposals
• Understand and articulate vendor technologies and value propositions
• Participate in field marketing and drive event attendance
• Represent GuidePoint Consultants and maintain client/vendor communication
• Leverage supporting resources and develop large group presentations

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years outside SLED sales experience in IT
• Strong relationships with key SLED accounts in the territory
• Experience with Salesforce.com and group presentation skills
• History of exceeding sales goals and lead generation
• Experience in selling professional services and security audits
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Network security vendor certifications preferred
