Account Manager – Austin, TX Full Time

Summary:

• This position is responsible for penetrating the market with specific emphasis on driving sales of Drawtex, Vashe, and Urgo Portfolio.
• By utilizing solution-based and concept selling approaches, the successful candidate will promote directly to the hospital/clinic, long-term care, and home health marketplace and across the care continuum.
• Requires a self-motivated individual with high energy and passion to meet clinicians’ needs.
• A personal and professional history of leadership, execution, and sales results, along with excellent communication skills to call on healthcare providers, are essential.
• Uncapped earnings potential is available, and the role offers product and sales training.
• The role involves intellectual and professional challenges to drive product sales in your territory.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all sales and support activities within your individual territory, including sales calls to hospitals and wound centers.
• Work with a defined sales quota, focusing on communicating product advantages, features, benefits, clinical value, and innovative solutions to decision-makers within healthcare facilities.
• Foster the company’s reputation by selling and promoting products in a highly professional, ethical, and knowledgeable manner while complying with Health Care compliance guidelines.
• Set appointments with hospital staff and administrators.
• Manage all leads and customers within a defined territory.
• Educate customers on the benefits of products.
• Provide product demonstrations and support.
• Communicate between sales, marketing, and support teams to improve the customer experience.
• Input and maintain data in Salesforce.com.
• Achieve sales targets through efficient sales cycle and territory management.
• Maintain the sales base while closing new business in both new and existing accounts.
• Ensure all administrative tasks (e.g., training modules, expense reports, sales forecasts) are completed promptly and accurately.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders within accounts.
• Develop and execute sales strategies.
• Utilize available resources effectively.
• Travel within assigned territory up to 50%, with some regional, overnight travel required.
• Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the Quality System.
• Convey communications clearly, concisely, and accurately.
• Develop interpersonal, professional relationships, displaying socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
• Work independently and as a team member.
• Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills; analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Use various types of databases and computer software.
• Prioritize tasks, possess strong organizational and planning skills.
• Present material to Executive-level management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in health science or marketing/business.
• 2+ years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Presentation skills, ability to quickly learn new information.
• Excellent sales skills.
