Account Manager – Orange County Full Time

Summary:

• This position is responsible for penetrating the market with specific emphasis on driving sales of Drawtex, Vashe, and Urgo Portfolio.
• Utilize solution-based and concept-selling approaches to promote directly to the hospital/clinic, long-term care, and home health marketplace across the care continuum.
• The successful candidate requires high energy, passion, and the ability to meet clinicians’ needs.
• Urgo Medical provides product and sales training with uncapped earnings potential under the guidance of experienced management.

Responsibilities:

• Set appointments with hospital staff and administrators.
• Manage all leads and customers within a defined territory.
• Educate customers on the benefits of products.
• Provide product demonstrations and support.
• Communicate between sales, marketing, and support teams to improve customer experience.
• Input and maintain data in Salesforce.com.
• Achieve sales targets through efficient and effective sales cycle and territory management.
• Maintain sales base while closing new business in both new and existing accounts.
• Ensure that all administrative tasks (i.e., training modules, expense reports, sales forecasts) are completed promptly and accurately.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders within accounts.
• Develop and execute sales strategies.
• Utilize available resources effectively.
• Travel within assigned territory up to 50%, with some overnight regional travel required.
• Provide customer-focused service and support business goals effectively.
• Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the Quality System.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in health science or marketing/business.
• 2+ years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate presentation skills and the ability to quickly learn new information.
• Excellent sales skills.
• Ability to clearly and accurately convey communications.
• Develop interpersonal, professional relationships while displaying appropriate behavior.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Aptitude to use various types of databases and computer software.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Ability to present material to executive-level management.
