Accounting Manager Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Maintain precise and efficient recordkeeping and accounting systems using modern technology.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Manage advanced accounting areas, including prepaid expenses and deferred revenues.
• Record and reconcile daily transactions using bookkeeping software.
• Prepare, review, and monitor budgets, comparing projections to actuals.
• Prepare and file accurate Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) returns in Arizona.
• Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost-saving and process improvement.
• Coordinate with banks, vendors, and external accountants to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Represent PBM Group during audits or financial reviews.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reports for senior leadership.
• Design and enforce policies to safeguard company assets and enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial analysis and reporting.
• Proven ability to manage closing processes and complex accounting systems.
• Expertise in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and Arizona TPT regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems, EOS, or process improvement initiatives.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and a thorough approach to tasks.
• Ability to foresee consequences and ensure accuracy and completion in financial reporting.
