Responsibilities:
- Handle instructional responsibilities to support, strengthen, and enhance the student learning experience.
- Interact directly with students in a professional manner.
- Facilitate a safe and productive learning environment for students.
- Respond to student requests for information, content clarification, and personal queries in a timely manner.
- Oversee the quality of the course by reviewing functionality and content.
- Expand the student experience by integrating personal experience, insights, or professional knowledge into course content.
- Monitor and provide feedback on student assignments.
- Synthesize and report student performance data on time.
- Support policies and procedures of the program and institution.
- Promote the mission and culture of ACE within and beyond the institution.
- Participate in professional development activities to augment personal and professional skills.
Requirements:
- Earned terminal degree in a field associated with the department (e.g., ESL/BL, Early Childhood Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Literacy, Special Education).
- Minimum of 3 peer-reviewed professional publications and presentations (Doctoral Teaching & Learning).
- At least 1 year of experience in teaching in a formal educational setting, preferably in higher education.
- Experience developing online/virtual professional relationships.
- Evidence of professional research and expertise in the field.
- Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
