Responsibilities:
- Serve as lead or supporting writer for proposals.
- Ensure quality narrative following proposal-writing standards.
- Lead or contribute to strategic positioning and design.
- Support project design with conceptual frameworks.
- Optimize competitiveness and project outcomes.
- Develop processes, tools, and templates for proposal writing.
- Provide strategic advisory on organizational positioning.
- Lead special projects with cross-departmental teams.
- Address gaps to improve Jhpiego’s competitiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health or international development.
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in public health project design.
- Proven record of writing successful proposals.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of USAID and large foundation procedures.
- Ability to synthesize and articulate program insights.
