Responsibilities:
- Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models tailored to Africa’s unique datasets and challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into real-world applications.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and opportunities within hyperlocal datasets.
- Optimize and fine-tune models to ensure scalability, accuracy, and fairness in their application.
- Contribute to the development of industry-specific AI solutions in key sectors like finance, healthcare, and agriculture.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and data science, and apply them to CipherSense’s initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) or R.
- Proficiency in working with large datasets and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Understanding of data fairness, bias mitigation, and ethical AI principles.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
