AI Product Design Apprenticeship Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Learn foundational AI principles and how LLM’s work.
• Understand generative AI principles and concepts.
• Analyze real-world digital AI products and AI design case studies.
• Analyze AI product successes and failures.
• Design and build AI applications with a human centered approach.
• Apply Wizard-of-Oz prototyping and other prototyping methods to test AI-based ideas prior to development.
• Balance the need for user-control versus AI automation within the product based on user needs.
• Understand the psychology behind why users may or may not trust AI-based products and systems.
• Develop AI chatbot designs, designing for the psychology behind why and how users interact with chatbots.
• Understand the ethics around AI design and what makes ethical vs. unethical AI designs.
