Analytics Engineer – Blockchain Data Specialist Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data models using dbt and SQL for blockchain data analysis.
• Create comprehensive analytics product specifications and metric definitions.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for on-chain and off-chain data sources.
• Collaborate with the Data Product team on various initiatives.
• Mentor team members on blockchain data analysis best practices.
• Work with Product and Data Science teams to define analytical requirements.
• Contribute to the development of standardized blockchain data frameworks.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience with complex data sets.
• Proven expertise in blockchain data structures and analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills, especially with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake and Athena.
• Proficiency in dbt and data modeling techniques, including star schema and dimensional modeling.
• Strong background in ETL pipeline development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.

Technical Skills:

• Data Warehousing: Snowflake, Athena, Hive, PostgreSQL, SQL Server.
• Data Modeling: dbt, dimensional modeling, star schema.
• Domain Knowledge: Blockchain protocols, smart contracts, DeFi metrics.
• Programming: SQL (required); Python (bonus).
