Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to Data Analytics, IT, Privacy & Security, and Innovation teams
- Serve as a subject matter expert on privacy, data, and security regulations
- Provide day-to-day advice on intellectual property and technology legal issues
- Monitor changes in laws or regulations impacting company strategy
- Assist with legal department projects, including process enhancement
- Work with business stakeholders to support innovation while managing risk
- Provide legal support in a fast-paced insure-tech start-up environment
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience with strong academic and law firm credentials
- 5+ years of in-house experience with a life insurance carrier preferred
- In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws and intellectual property
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong business acumen
