Associate Director, IBSRELA Training Full Time NEW

Summary:

• Ardelyx is a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company with a focus on discovering and commercializing first-in-class medicines.
• The Associate Director, IBSRELA Training supports commercial training needs for the IBSRELA product.
• The role includes the strategic planning and implementation of world-class product and skill-based training via various formats such as eLearning and live meetings.
• The position reports to the SVP, Sales and aligns with the Sales Leadership Team.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and deploy brand-specific training experiences for IBSRELA.
• Assist in developing and executing strategic and tactical plans to support the IBSRELA Field Sales team’s objectives.
• Implement and continuously improve new hire training programs and curricula.
• Oversee ongoing learning programs for continuing education and advanced product/disease knowledge.
• Develop classroom training programs, including customer interaction skills and disease/product education.
• Lead the development of sales training programs, mentorships, coaching, and field assessments.
• Ensure training programs adhere to legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with Sales and Market Access to integrate sales and marketing materials into training programs.
• Provide strategic analysis and planning to manage internal customer expectations.
• Design and attend certification training for relevant programs and vendors.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree required, preferably in life science or business; MBA preferred.
• 6-8+ years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience.
• Experience in specialty pharmaceuticals or biologics, especially with specialty pharmacy and buy & bill.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated excellence in project management, including budgeting and managing multiple priorities.
• 25-35% national travel required.
• Training experience is essential.
• Experience in Gastroenterology preferred.
• Sales and reimbursement experience preferred.
