Associate Director, XPHOZAH Training Full Time NEW

Summary:

• Ardelyx is a publicly traded commercial biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing, and commercializing innovative first-in-class medicines to address unmet medical needs.
• The Associate Director, XPHOZAH Training, will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for the XPHOZAH product.
• The role involves strategic planning and execution of brand-specific training experiences through eLearning, live meetings, virtual training, and on-demand courses.
• The position will report to the SVP, Sales, and collaborate closely with the Sales Leadership Team to align training strategies with the company’s objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and deploy brand-specific training experiences for XPHOZAH.
• Assist in developing and executing comprehensive strategic and tactical plans supporting short and long-term objectives of the XPHOZAH Field Sales team.
• Implement and continuously improve XPHOZAH new hire training, continuing education, and advanced learning programs.
• Develop classroom training programs focused on customer interaction, disease, and product education via live training experiences and e-learning modules.
• Develop mentorships, coaching, and field assessments in partnership with Sales Leadership and Zone Directors.
• Ensure training programs comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Market Access to integrate sales and marketing materials into training programs.
• Provide strategic analysis and planning to manage demands and expectations from multiple internal customers.
• Design and attend certification training for relevant training programs and vendors.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree required, preferably in life science or business. MBA preferred.
• 6-8+ years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience.
• Experience in specialty pharmaceuticals or biologics, with a background in specialty pharmacy and buy & bill.
• Proven communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders across sales and marketing.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and budgeting.
• 25-35% national travel required.
• Training experience required.
• Experience in Nephrology strongly preferred.
• Sales and reimbursement experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration, organizational, and operational skills.
