Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and timely analysis of financial documents and transactions
- Reconcile data daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually across multiple sources
- Produce trend analysis of reconciled appropriations for financial forecasting
- Align cost estimates to budgets and reconcile requirements with associated budgets
- Create, review, and reconcile financial data to validate Estimates at Complete (EAC)
- Utilize systems and databases to research and reconcile dormant documents
- Assist in creating budget formulation work products per DoD and OMB guidelines
- Assist with financial forecasts and projections and reconcile funding data
- CONUS and/or OCONUS travel – 25%, as needed
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 1 or more years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Basic understanding of Federal financial management policies and budget execution
- Previous experience with the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program is a plus
- Some experience with Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) activities
- CDFM or CGFM is a plus
- US citizenship with ability to obtain up to a secret level clearance
