Associate General Counsel Full Time

Summary:

• BeatBox Beverages is a fast-growing supplier of RTD alcoholic beverages.
• The company is seeking an attorney with extensive experience in contract review, risk mitigation, insurance, intellectual property, supply chain, and route to market strategy.
• The ideal candidate should be hard working, personable, solution-oriented, motivated, and able to work independently in a largely remote environment.
• The candidate must be capable of managing a diverse and fast-moving workload.

Responsibilities:

• Meticulously review contracts and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and strengthen business points.
• Draft and update policies and procedures with a keen emphasis on risk mitigation, legal compliance, and usability.
• Manage IP strategy and execution, including registrations, internal compliance, and enforcement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on insurance matters.
• Identify and assess legal risks and collaborate on strategies to mitigate them effectively.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role.
• Experience with in-house or corporate legal matters.
• Strong experience with contract review.
• Law degree and bar admission in good standing.
• Knowledge and experience in the alcohol industry strongly preferred.
