Aviation Underwriter Trainee Full Time
Responsibilities
- Evaluate information to determine risk acceptability and price
- Make decisions based on evaluation of information
- Communicate and negotiate underwriting and pricing decisions
- Document decisions per business unit practices and standards
- Build relationships with agency personnel and internal staff
- Act with urgency on inquiries and requests
- Provide unmatched customer service
- Drive new business opportunities to assigned agents
- Manage a small territory with mentor oversight
- Assist with reporting and project needs
Requirements
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience (May 2025 graduates considered)
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Leadership, professionalism, organization, and time management skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without VISA sponsorship
